Paul was exposed to asbestos fibres simply by contact with his Dad’s work clothes (he ws a factory maintenance engineer). Same happened to my Mam - fibres in my builder Dad’s overalls got into her lungs. Decades later she ws diagnosed with mesothelioma - a dreadful disease.
The Sunday Times Magazine has done a piece on asbestos and mesothelioma. And I was asked by

My best friend Rae Stewart has died after an illness. He was just 56. Rae was a proud son of Tain and a brilliant journalist, author, husband, father and friend. All my thoughts today are with him and his beloved family.
