My entry for the @SIVATrainees #SIVA24 infographic competition. Is there one model to rule them all? Well tbh I think it doesn't matter all that much, as long as you know your model well! You can find a more detailed explanation on my website: https://t.co/4xLAhFkY2D

Less than one percent of seats in Parliament. But featured in a quarter of news bulletins. That's some impartiality right there BBC 👀 https://t.co/3yUj54UkQb

@ArunBaksi @cleggy261 @thomasdolphin I couldn’t agree more. It’s difficult to identify any other group which would be able to do this and, without an independent and powerful voice, patients will continue to be put at risk

Today's Fash March is being widely dressed up as a Christian thing. Tommy Robinson has been bleating on about his crosses and the joy he's felt from hearing hymns. GIVE ME A BREAK. These people like Yaxley-Lemon and Nic Tenconi are about as Christian as my toaster. [yes, I am

There is gross mismanagement of NHS spending. We spend £1.3bn on management consultants annually with no evidence they help. Services are increasingly outsourced to private providers, which are more expensive and have no regulation. The NHS is being intentionally dismantled.

Update on Physician Associate ➡️ Physician Assistant New GMC legislative framework. "These proposals will include the change in role titles. Subject to parliamentary time, our expectation is that these changes will be put before the UK and Scottish Parliaments during 2026"

So if appears someone or some people were being duplicitous & story changed No ‘vote of no confidence’ but media briefings I suspect that the support Katie has received showed their foolishness & stupidity at this time More importantly @doctor_katie is doing a great job & stays

@ClareGerada @ItsnotrightUK In my 40 year NHS experience accusations of ‘bullying’ often come from those who have been rumbled and are trying, reflexively, to shut things down.

@ClareGerada @Mary_Tom11 @ItsnotrightUK @wesstreeting @DHSCgovuk I knew it was the fault of those pesky international doctors Remind me of your role in asking GMC to stop PLAB or involvement with the last few workforce plans in your multiple roles with NHSE, DHSC, RCGP etc

Just booked a return to London (off peak) £186! £17 more than the amount my GP practice gets for a whole year of access, prescriptions, referrals, letters etc 2 thoughts 🤔 Trains are too expensive! GPs can’t afford to continue to provide everything for £168pa @wesstreeting

The British establishment have all ready covered this new Banksy up. Can we get it Retweeted 10,000 times to show that they can never cover up their complicity in war crimes?? Protect the right to protest! RT!

@Jean_Jeannie1 @Oxfordite @LittlePersonDoc There is a big narrative push ATM for 'change', 'innovation' and 'risk' from the DoH. Part of the big experiment of the 10YP. Safety-first is yesterday. Research and evidence are out.

@DrLKVaughan If flying a plane solo, over unpopulated ground, the pilot takes all the risk. If treating patients, the patients take all the risk. So, the patient decides the level of risk they are willing to take, not the care-giver.

This post makes me deeply uncomfortable. 'Willing to take risks'. The key questions are risk to whom and of what kind? Risk to the team? Of failure? Risk to patients of harm and/or death? In health care systems, these are frequently the same. Health care 'innovation' /
If we want our teams to innovate & try new, better ways of working, we have to focus on willingness to take risks. Risk is a massive issue in health & care improvement, where we are having to challenge many of the ways that we deliver care & fundamentally rethink existing

It's a tale as old as time that very rich people will try to blame society's ills on a minority group so that they themselves aren't held to account.

@dgraemestewart Something was missed. Everyone blames the leader. But not because they want better for General Practice, but because they have political aspirations themselves. And so they throw her under the bus. And it's worth stating that she is a woman. And you know.

@muddy_gas_doc @medicalmodelbri @cannula_service @Jo_McGinn @Burnt2020 @ramey999 @anaesthetic_spr @Anongas33 @gasdoc2857 @isitsleepytime This is why economic evaluation has been so strenuously avoided by policy makers Safe & economically unviable or viable & working outside of RCoA scope. This also segues into Mr Massey’s formal & dismayed reply to the latter worrying how restrictive scope may harm employment 🙃

@medicalmodelbri @Shr_Nottingham @ramey999 @anaesthetic_spr @Anongas33 @gasdoc2857 @muddy_gas_doc @isitsleepytime @cannula_service Agree. If not having AAs means the anaesthetic service collapsing for breast cancer patients then the hospital has significant issues that go beyond using AAs. If she found her PA course difficult I think medical school and the FRCA exams may not be for her.

Are you guys fucking kidding me? Are you kidding? You are going to kick the best thing that we have seen in over a decade. Have you seen who else is in GPC? Might as well say goodbye to General Practice in England. https://t.co/vdaFrF0HdJ
