Looks like @medicalmodelbri does a better job at protecting the public than the 1700 employees at @gmcuk.
A physiotherapist was suspended for 18 months by the @The_HCPC for reasons unknown . This physio is also a physician Associate. He is STILL listed on the @gmcuk register . @The_HCPC have you informed the @gmcuk about the conduct of this person or does the public have to ?

Prof @parthaskar will be suspended by the RCP after raising concerns in an open and transparent manner. This sets a dangerous precedent. Inaction is complicity. RCP members must speak up. ✍️ Sign the letter 👇👇👇.
I’m not usually one for petitions but when someone is ousted from the RCP for raising safety concerns, silence isn’t an option. @parthakar’s removal is shocking. Council must refuse to ratify it next week or risk complicity in the governance failings laid bare in the Kings Fund.

This meeting minutes was not disclosed in @AnaesUnited claim. @drcolinm in his three witness statements exhibited screenshots from Reddit, but didn't disclose the minutes below. Any reason for that Professor? Were you present at this meeting?.
The @gmcuk said in court they decided not to set scope but it was never a single decision. This would suggest the Colleges were expecting & prepared to set limits implying the GMC actively fought against it. Does this explain their failed disclosure & have they lied to the court?.

Exactly. With the GMC now seeking to 'reform' the Medical Act, this is our chance to push for meaningful change. We need a modern regulator that is fit for purpose, transparent, and genuinely accountable to the profession it serves.
So if we’re going to pass new legislation to amend the PA/AA order on titles anyway;. There’s absolutely no reason not to take this legislative procedural opportunity to change the regulator too. The GMC was always the wrong regulator. The HCPC is best placed to handle it.

In today's hearing, Mr Dunlop KC for the GMC was keen to point out that the DHSC, did not require the GMC to set hard limits. It was one of the reasons why they didnt. More worryingly he started of by saying that the GMC has different views of how to protect the public!.
This is regulatory capture. I pay my fees to the independent regulator in order protect the public. If the GMC is declaring itself a branch of DHSC, acting in its interests, then tell me- why am I paying them?.

Absolutely agree. Many documents will shortly be released which shall shine a light on the GMC. Its a regulator that needs urgent reform.
As @drcolinm witness statement is no longer privileged I’m going to make one thing clear. The Chestertons are amongst the most dignified & strong people I’ve met. Mr Massey assured them @gmcuk would set safe scope & this is the document I sent that astounded them👇. Probity much?
