GP to kindly....fix whatever comes into another clinicians head cause it personally affects them. It will get the likes cause hating on GPs is a sport. I know that sounds salty...and you have spoken about similar issues in your area. The biggest threat to GPs are hospital docs.
#medtwitter Why are GPs not speaking up more about this?! Dangerous non medical practitioners seeing undifferentiated patients, making decisions for their care. You should not need to go through 10 rounds of non doctors to see a doctor. The NHS is cooked 😭🤦🏻♀️

In a department of c.70 Consultants, I sent my MTR to 10 of them who I have done more than one list with in the last 2 months and have sent associated SLEs. It’s a short list. One of the responses: “I don’t remember actually having done a list with Oli” Bueno.

Hat tip to Sarah today from me. Lots of love to your whole family.
@Parody_RCGP No please don’t take your post down. I think you have a valid point. Also the more people that know about Harriet/ Harriet’s death, and what she is achieving for maternity safety, the more it makes me proud to be her Mummy💔 ♥️ 😊.

The moment I had to say goodbye forever to our beautiful daughter. I would soon take her on her first walk, in her tiny white coffin. Maternity safety must improve 💔 #mentalhealthawarnessweek #SaferMaternity #grief #babyloss #talkaboutthem

Oh fuck off.
@DrHFRyan @CareQualityComm @BolaOwolabi8 Didn’t think I would stand up for the CQC but I guess I am. They do try their best. Having said that there are always systemic aberrations. One thing I have to admit that rather can coming straight out and calling a spade a spade, there is this propensity to try and drown people

Another day. Another fucking complaint that we won't share care with Right to Choose. Where is the BMA with a clear statement on their website that we don't have too? Come on. Would take you 5 minutes. Instead we have the same fight. Come on.

The British people are masters at racing to the bottom
@EssexgoonerMr British people need to stop tearing each other down. 145K average salary for an experienced NHS consultant (who have world class training) is not good enough. It is about a 1/3-1/4 of US remuneration, 1/2-1/3 Canadian, 1/2 Aus/Irish/UAE etc.

A fucking fish tank! This. This is exactly what happens when you are a GP and the clipboards want to power trip. Meanwhile when babies are dying in hospital, people off the street are examining children with safeguarding concerns? Nowt. And Alpacas can visit hospitals!
Is anyone else taking part in the @CareQualityComm engagement webinar today? This was my question to @BolaOwolabi8. The chair advised that specific concerns should be raised via the CQC's contact centre. But we made a formal complaint on 22nd Oct and haven't had a response yet...

Fascinating to see a Royal College CEO step onto twitter and then immediately be met with facts. This is what should be happening internally. But we all know what happens when those within try to? Royal Colleges are self-serving cults. Prove me wrong.
@pash22 @anaesthetic_spr @RCEMpresident @RCollEM @RCEMvp_Salwa I’m sorry you have such a poorly informed view of this College. I’ll be happy to meet with you. Just DM me. By the way are you one of our members?

Last week I walked out of an NHS hospital because staff were so rude to me. I’d made a genuine mistake - I missed an ultrasound that had been paired with a clinic appointment. For context: I’m currently a patient at four hospitals across four different trusts, juggling multiple

This is on our Medical leaders & Royal colleges eager to please politicians & be “inside the tent” who have facilitated Doctor replacements by ACP/ANP/PA It’s unbelievable what they have unleashed on unsuspecting members of public
@Dr_Done_ @medicalmodelbri I think the important point to make is the College of Paramedics says NO ONE can become a paramedic without the full degree course or an apprentice degree course …..you can’t work as one and you can’t act up as one …..end!! The Nursing profession have similar rules.

“Why do doctors stay anonymous” “Doctors should not be anonymous while raising concerns” Said every single person itching to use the regulator against someone flagging concerns Facts.

@medicaccountant @gardenrichard Agree. Logic does not apply. Take money away from General Practice is a win. Given it to Neighbourhood teams? Double win. Will cost multiple times more? Who cares, there is no accountability.

@medicaccountant GPs will be more willing to use collective action after last year experience & ICBs have the data that GP LES is the cheapest model, and other model will increase waits and cost more.
2. Don’t raid Local enhanced service budgets to fund SNP. They are core to practice funding and need certainty. Local areas should invest not disinvest and there needs to be more standard pricing across the country. Sort that👇

0745am Monday I've already had to tell multiple patients that they are not eligible for care. This is not what I signed up for. I don't blame ICBs - they have an impossible task but they should own the problem not make General Practice do their dirty work.

So CQC can lie about the death of a baby. But if a GP doesn't have a vial (yes a vial) of furosemide on their trolley then they threaten to close the GP surgery down! Meanwhile ICBs monitor GP practices and immediately demand meetings when they put safety measures in place.

Dear member of the public. I have opinions on Trident, Russia & fishing. I think you should ignore the experts cause the thoughts in my head are logical if scrutinised by me. And entitlement means that I can force you to defend your position and not offend my feelings.
Dear @mgtmccartney I know you mean well, but unfortunately screening for early disease is logical and sensible and can also be effective and save lives. Recommending a good test leads to reassurance, and harms no one, only necessary and effective early treatment. #FIFY

Huh?
I am ending the unrestricted use of taxis by asylum seekers for hospital appointments, authorising them only in the most exceptional circumstances. I will continue to root out waste as we close every single asylum hotel. https://t.co/PGVdNaYeF6
