We filmed platelet production to see how each person makes 100 BILLION of them a day. Platelets are tiny blood cells that prevent bleeding. They're made by giant cells in the bone marrow called megakaryocytes, but exactly how has been controversial… https://t.co/FBwTBHefPN

Using advanced #imaging & AI, WEHI scientists uncovered how hormone-sensing breast cells divide, grow & move during puberty and pregnancy. This helps us understand how #breastcancer forms, especially in BRCA 1 & 2 carriers. @cellreports: https://t.co/nselYnhnEN

Potts et al. show that STAT3 inhibition is a conserved vulnerability for splicing factor heterozygous mutant hematopoietic cells due to its impact on splicing. These findings suggest that STAT3...

So this is caged-oxytocin in action. Left: wash on of oxytocin on ex vivo mammary tissue (mouse) expressing gcamp Right: region of interest stimulated using caged-OT ex vivo mammary tissue expressing gcamp Beautiful imaging by @KrystynaGieniec from @felicitydavis2 lab
I am happy to share with you all my first PD paper from the @Froemkelab. Here we leverage chemistry to spatiotemporally control oxytocin binding in neuronal and non-neuronal tissue. A fun collaboration with the Chao, Tsien, @DirkTrauner, @DrYassum, @felicitydavis2 labs!
