a silly but probably true thing is that this is a fundamental obstacle to widespread adoption of self driving technology until/unless the cars become *so* self driving that we start thinking of and treating them like any other automated household appliance
One thing that has put me off of self driving cars just as an aesthetic matter is just how often my VW thinks it knows better than I do. Can’t remote start the car because the coolant is a little low, which I already knew. Can’t use the key fob to unlock the passenger side door

This post is pretty much my experience and sentiment exactly, except that my speedup is closer to a steady 10X, and sometimes up to maybe over 20X. I’m doing back end stuff mostly, but too am going line by line through the output & correcting etc.
i feel like i'm taking crazy pills. this is over 8 PRs a day IF you include weekends. could we please stop the hype and mania and be honest? i use opus every day, all day, but when i'm doing real system development i average like half a PR a day. not 8. my work has not
