@OpenChiswickW4 What absolute complete bs! Taxis are a wheelchair accessible vehicle that has been serving London as a regulated public transport service provider for over 400 years, in fact it's one of the oldest professions. Not everyone can walk or cycle. You would do well to remember that.

We have some of the safest roads in the world. The catastrophizing used for justifying blanket 20mph zones is just a veneer for the money making potential through fines.

@MikeTheGuard82 @ediz1975 The lobby is made up of organisations like Sustrans ( now renamed), the London Cycling Campaign and many cycle activists who lobbied for LTNs, despite the way they increase traffic on surrounding roads and thus congestion and pollution, so they could cycle in more comfort.

Employing cycle fanatics to run streets policy for London has been a disaster. There’s nothing amazing about introducing two-way cycle tracks into cities and degrading the city’s street environment and bus networks.
