Just fabulous to see so many people out enjoying Hammersmith Bridge on Easter Sunday. 🥰 Hard to imagine six years ago this had 20,000+ motor vehicles on it every day. 😊 Now it is dedicated to walking and wheeling 👍

@carlafrancome Enjoy the moment while it lasts, Carla. Most of these people will return to their first choice - the Underground- the moment the strike is over.

I am happy to announce that black cab drivers who think they are clever by edging over the white line at a ped crossing when the light is turning red and continuing to drive through it when the peds have a green light really don’t like it when you park your bike in front of them.

I love anti-cycling activists on X. Who else would use a photo of a bus passenger in a wheelchair to claim that floating bus stops make buses inaccessible for wheelchair users? 🤣🤪😁

This road IN A PARK was, only a few years ago, dedicated to rat running cabbies avoiding lights in Knightsbridge. Now it is safe passage for all these people riding bikes to work 😊

There is tactile paving and a zebra crossing at this bus stop in Chiswick. Vincent is stood on the tactile paving filming this stunt! It is beyond belief that he keeps posting this incriminating evidence of his cynical crusade against cycle lanes.

@VincentStops @Heidi_Labour @Meg_HillierMP @MarshadeCordova @DaveHill @andrewellson @steveracemp @danfrancis02 @lukeakehurst @FeryalClark Tactile paving & zebra markings would be a start. Shout for help. Also public awareness campaign @CyclingUK_SE There has got to be a workaround here. There are many more cyclists than blind people; they reduce pollution, spare the costs of road repair & costs to the NHS.

Vincent is recording it! And he is stood on the tactile pavement at the zebra crossing while filming. This is as disingenuous and embarrassing as anti-cycling campaigning can get.

Yes Vincent is filming him. Standing on the tactile pavement on the zebra crossing to the bus stop. It’s a stunt and one that completely undermines any claims of authenticity from Vincent and @NFBUK. Plus there is a cyclist who slows down to let Andrew cross safely.

There is tactile paving at this bus stop and also, there was no collision. Many other questions. Was this person on the bus with the doors closing? Why was someone filming him? Was it staged?

There is a very good reason why in all their hundreds of hours of footage the anti-cycling ghouls at No Fucking Bikes UK do not have a single incident of a cyclist endangering a blind person. Why? It just does not happen. Cyclists give way to blind people 👍😊

Unbelievably @CityWestminster have confirmed that they are handing over Oxford Street to @MayorofLondon with out fight! Letting down local residents. It is shocking, we will continue to fight this. Sign our petition and we can fight this together. https://t.co/rEIjMrZZS4

Only the very oddest of Hammersmith and Fulham residents don’t want zebra crossings on a main road. Of course they are ignored. It would be perverse to listen to them.

Vincent surpasses himself here. Vincent is standing on the tactile paving at the zebra crossing to the bus stop filming Andrew pretending that he cannot find the crossing. And the bike rider in this frame slowed down to let Andrew cross safely anyway. ⁦@Heidi_Labour

“Using a helpful template to frame a response” To try to game a consultation to oppose raised zebra crossings that make it safer and easier for disabled people, women, children and the elderly (plus blokes obvs) to walk across a main road to the shops. Busted 👍 Snigger 🤭

Road changes still going ahead on WBR Why? The majority opinion using a helpful template to frame a response doesn’t count. @LBHF don’t consult with residents, businesses or councillors - their own party or the oppo. They don’t care what you think https://t.co/yXFkFgJZzk

Apparently it is entitled to campaign for safer roads so that women and children can use bikes to get around in London without being maimed or killed by drivers.
