This chart is derived from @TfL’s own data. It shows clearly that the risk of cyclists being killed or seriously injured on London’s roads per million journeys is flat lining. I have included 2024 as the data is available.

So called segregation will infantilise all cyclists and eventually they will be barred from the carriageway. Nothing is achieved for pedestrians, indeed their use of the street is massively disrupted.
The modern roundabout is a healthy alternative to the junk infrastructure in suburban sprawl. Convert 🛑 to roundabout: 82% reduction in fatal and injury crashes Convert 🚦 to roundabout: 78% reduction in fatal and injury crashes

25 years since Mayor Livingstone had a significant grant available for London boroughs and a policy supporting slower speed initiatives(20mph zones enforced with humps) and speed tables on borough roads, London’s Cycling Commissioner has twigged. Well done @willnorman!
A growing body of research shows that 20mph is making our roads safer, reducing the number of people killed & seriously injured, while have little impact on journey times & no increase in pollution etc. But still the naysayers will kick off … see predicable comments below!

Over 1000 cyclists will be seriously injured in 2025, far more than when @Willnorman started putting in his cycleways a decade ago. The risk of injury per journey is also increasing.
Our network of cycleways has grown over 450% since 2016 - enabling millions of people to cycle safely around the capital every week.

Don’t fret London’s Cycling Commissioner is running a poster campaign.

Here is another representation of the road safety problem on London’s streets. All the modes bar cycling are seeing declining reported serious casualties. Cycling is seeing rising serious injuries and risk, despite near a £billion being spent. 2025 will again be at or above 1000.

the bikelane fad is completely incompatible with pedestrianism and accessibility to bus transit in cities
Investigation found a 41-year-old male operating an e-bike with a 39-year-old female rear passenger on board...The e-bike operator struck Valenti after she exited a city bus onto the adjacent sidewalk and attempted to cross the bike lane... DANGEROUS! https://t.co/vSBCLpazja

The effect of this will be catastrophic for blind people which is why all the national charities representing blind people have called for a halt to floating bus stops. It is reprehensible that you simply ignore their need to travel independently.
Good News: we've started construction work on the permanent Cycleway 4 extension from Charlton to Woolwich🚲🚲🚲 Cycleway 4 will run from Plumstead right into London Bridge enabling 1000s of people to safely cycle through Greenwich, Lewisham & Southwark in South East London.

@VincentStops I was on YouTube last night and suddenly a very brief TfL clip came on urging cyclists to give way to pedestrians at floating bus stops. I can imagine the laughter judging by the kamikaze behaviour I see every day by cyclists at such disastrous floating stops.

In response to FOI, @TfL can say the length of bus lane they put in, but not how much they take out for cycle tracks as they are doing now in Woolwich - they ‘do not hold the information…’

The introduction of floating bus stops will mean the permanent exclusion of blind people from travelling independently. This despite the @MayorofLondon knowing all the national blind person’s charities, @RNIB, @guidedogs and @NFBUK have called for a halt to all new schemes.

Just published. Near a 1000 cyclists seriously injured in 2024, up from 700 in 2015. TfL’s own data show the risk of serious injury is trending upwards despite a £billion spent. London’s Cycling Commissioner, @willnorman, often on Twitter has no view. @ZoeBillingham @EllyBakerAM

Near 1000 cyclists were seriously injured in 2024, up from 700 when @willnorman started ‘enabling people to cycle’. What would failure look like.

Repeat the treatment until the patient dies. @willnorman’s own data shows the risk of serious injury for cyclists per journey has increased during his tenure.

Government and highways authorities building floating bus stops for cyclists not only ignored disabled people, the UN convention of disabled peoples’ rights & equalities legislation, we now know they ignored a British Standards Inst. document requiring direct access to the bus.

In 1999 cycling on the pavement was effectively decriminalised. Since then the boundary between pavement and carriageway has been abandoned as more and more cycling schemes route bikes on and through the pavement.
