Or... if this idea seems silly, please also let me know. 🙂😶 At this moment, I'm teetering on the edge of really going forward for it or abandoning it completely. Just thinking about the huge potential this could have for fans and analysts alike - easily accessible data.

Such an undertaking would take a huge collective effort, but I believe the end result could be a game-changer for the AFL fans who are starving for more stats. If there's any fellow AFL statisticians/data analysts that sees values in this and wants to get involved, please DM me.

💡The idea: A new open, centralised data platform & warehouse built by the fans, for the fans. A platform with not just historical player & team statistics from AFL/VFL, AFLW & state comps, but historical info on injuries, venues, awards, trades, draftees, odds, fantasy & more.

🤔💡I've been dabbling with an idea, today I'm putting out there. A lot of casual #AFL fans, supporters and amateur statisticians are crying out for more data and statistics about the game and their favourite players. While great sites already exist, why not something grander?

I'm at a loss for words. 82 losses, 1 draw and just 17 wins from North Melbourne's past 100 games. @sirswampthing - where does this rank in terms of results from 100 consecutive matches? I know St. Kilda, North and Fitzroy have had more losses at one point in VFL/AFL history...

If this #AFLFantasy #SuperCoach #DreamTeam pre-season has taught me anything.... ...it's that this 19th season of fantasy will definitely be my last. I'm so very tired. 😮‍💨
