sometimes i really fucking hate being a woman. why are we always viewed as being separate from the regular human experience. why are men seen as the default for every damn thing. first the sky sports thing and now this? why are we never considered to be consumers of these things?
Monster Energy is set to release a new female-focused energy drink called 'FLRT' with four flavors late Q1 2026 - Berry Tempting - Guava Lava - Strawberry Fling - Sunset Squeeze

2 days ago I spent 4 hours live on @SkySports discussing football. Somehow my feminine brain was able to comprehend the sport without dumbing it down with matcha and labubu references in pink, glittery writing. One step forward, 50 years back.

Quality, or lack thereof, of Keeper much more understandable after I read its Wikipedia but that doesn’t mean more enjoyable. Set in house during anniversary trip, the poorly written&cheap-looking suspenseful folk horror thankfully also short (Why the distain 4 beige cardigans?)

The game was at its best when the custodians of it were the fans. The league have officially discarded them and decided that the broadcasters now own the game. It’s disgraceful treatment of the heartbeat of our game. A night Grand Final is now 24 months away. 🕊️

That “clean air” the AFL kept going on about for AFLW going well

One the AFLW’s brightest new talents Sophie McKay comes from a famous football family. Yet she almost didn't play. LOVED this chat with Soph:

Despite coming from a family with a strong pedigree for football, one of the AFLW's best new talents almost gave it up. Now, she is enjoying putting on a show.

Not to mention, those players have had to sacrifice a lot to help build the competition to where it is today. It’s not really about being “nice”, but showing well-earned respect.

Where the comp is currently at, 100 games in the W is without a doubt a major milestone. It’s taken players 10 seasons to get here - and only the very best and consistent inaugural players have been able to do it so far.
Not sure when opposition teams lining up for a notable but not a major milestone became the expectation. Sport isn’t supposed to be nice

"They just said we want you out. We want you gone." "It probably could've been handled better." Sat down with Ollie Florent and Will Hayward. Both were brutally honest on their calls with Dean Cox, their pact in Argentina & the moment "shit hit the fan".

Also to the competitive gap argument, yes of course we don’t want that but North’s dominance didn’t happen overnight. Their standards are going to force everyone else to increase theirs, which is exciting re the future of W imo.
I really don't subscribe to the notion that North Melbourne being too good for anyone to catch them is making this season's pointy end less enjoyable or 'boring'. If anything, it's just going to force everyone else to get better (exciting) https://t.co/yiR8jszAWk via @abcsport

Kangas have kicked 50+ points in every game this year. We haven't had that before in W. At this point in the comp's infancy, it's very exciting to witness imo.

While some suggest that this year's AFLW premiers being all but known has caused some to lose interest, commentators say North Melbourne's dominance is inspirational.

This W Showdown is the type of match that makes me so misty-eyed about the dvlpmnt of W and how the wider landscape has changed so much over the last 10yrs and how lucky we are Storylines everywhere. Heaving crowd. Ferocious, engaging football, happened to be played by women.

There's a trade watch on two star forwards and could we seen even more Deadline Day drama? 👀 @RileyBev has some big trade news on The W Show: https://t.co/hTlCSCGI3i

It's hard to know where best to place AFLW in the calendar year but every time I talk to even the most die hard fans, they are already so exhausted from a long year of footy. 'Footy fatigue' really setting in come October. Latest for @abcsport: https://t.co/EpYGQko7wk

One of the biggest challenges the AFLW faces is end-of-year "footy fatigue", according to diehard fans and industry insiders.

I know this isn’t a good faith comment but this argument is so frustrating when players, coaches, fans, etc are constantly highlighting issues in order to help fix them and make the product better. There’s no possible other agenda to it
@marnievinall @abcsport Do they ever not whinge ? Bloody hell just play footy and focus on getting better coz right now it’s absolute garbage
