Happy to proudly share that my first first-author work is finally published @NatureComms https://t.co/tSH09JYKvV. A lot of sweat and tears went into this and I hope our findings on the role of cell forces in recruitment of cells in the context of CCMs make for an enjoyable read.

So frustrated with for-profit journals! @NaturePortfolio @ScienceMagazine @SpringerNature we pay tons of money for publishing, and review for you for free! Yet, you won't use even a small part of your profit to support our conferences! As GRC organizer I find it outrageous! 1/3

Thank you @BPoD_s for this feature! A correction though: these are CCM mutant cells (green) and not cancerous cells. There are parallels between CCM lesion and cancer mechanisms, but this is a CCM mutant cell pulling a non-mutant, β€œhealthy” cell (red).
