I moved in with my mom to care for her since she had Alzheimer’s. I had videos all around the house so that I could see what she was doing, and so that if she fell, I could see how it happened, if she was OK and what part of her body hit what.

My mom has just passed. I knew it was coming, but it‘s still hits hard. It‘s been a long journey caring for her; the hardest thing I‘ve ever done, but I‘m so glad I could do it. This was her on her BD (Cinco de Mayo).

The people who study Long Covid wear masks in public indoor spaces, use ventilation, etc, not because they think they're going to die in the acute phase of the infection, but because they know about LONG COVID.

I see this man walking his older dog in a wagon down the street almost every day. I panicked one day when I saw the man w/o the wagon and dog, but a few days later he was back with the dog. The dog had been sick but was better. ❤️🩹🥰

My brother is currently visiting Germany and went to the Neuschwanstein castle today. He sent a very pretty picture of it with snow. It’s probably Germany’s most famous castle, and Disney modeled its castle after this one.

I don't think that's the case. The deer's mother was right there eating (hard to see in the video), and we have a low fence in one spot. I think it was just being a youngster with a lot of energy.

I get tired of people asking me “what do you do for fun?” Or, they ask how many friends I’ve made. They just can’t believe that I’m perfectly happy and having “fun” at home. I do get out, and do have some friends, but they always seem to think I’m bored and lonely.

I'm dedicating this Intl Women's Day to my mom who inspired me. She taught me feminism, independence, the importance of giving and of being educated. She was a librarian, a seamstress, a ham radio operator. Most of all she was my mom and my friend.
