Service to our neighbors is at the very heart of a strong community. Today, I had the opportunity to join Mayor Ramos-Herbert, HOPE Community Services, and dozens of volunteer students from New Rochelle schools for a food packaging day of service to help those who need it most.

Meals on Main Street ensures folks in Westchester, Putnam, and Bronx counties have access to affordable and healthy meals. It was my pleasure to visit and discuss how we can connect more New Yorkers to this critical program.

Another great visit with @RepRileyNY at @SUNYDelhi to hear directly from students involved with the school’s Center for Community Engagement. As we look to expand service opportunities across the state, these conversations are both informative and inspiring.

Affordable and attainable access to services, such as housing and child care, is critical for upward mobility. Today, alongside @RepRileyNY, we heard from the leadership at Delaware Opportunities about these services and how they positively impact the Delaware community.
