Apologizing to Trump is probably the right move to restart negotiations, but is absolutely the wrong move politically at home. Canadians are starving for a more aggressive stance against the US (to their detriment). We need a good working relationship with the US.

Rent control doesn’t lower rental prices…it just locks a select group into artificially cheap housing while forcing everyone else to pay more. In addition to that, someone making $200k+ shouldn’t be subsidized just because they signed a lease in 2010.
