Apologizing to Trump is probably the right move to restart negotiations, but is absolutely the wrong move politically at home. Canadians are starving for a more aggressive stance against the US (to their detriment). We need a good working relationship with the US.

I actually asked my microbiologist friend about this and he said that most pathogens have adapted to the fever response and that it doesn’t really make any difference whether you reduce the fever or not.
