After my postdoc I joined Codon Learning to translate EBT practices, like high-structure course design and self testing, into a learning platform. Tomorrow our Chief Academic Officer, Jenny Knight, will be sharing what we learned during our beta test.

It was such an asset to have @JerryTimbrook's survey methodology expertise for the BioSkills Guide project. A great example of the power of cross-disciplinary collaborations.
My collaboration with @alexaclemmons, Jon Herron, and Alison Crowe from @UWBiology led to a great article in @CBELifescied that was highlighted in October's @ScienceMagazine as an Editor's Choice. Check it out!.

So excited this is out in the world. Thank you to the many, many biology educators who weighed in. Looking forward to continued progress integrating competencies throughout college biology courses.

Really fun session last night. Was fantastic to learn about how early childhood educators responded to the rapid changes. Couldn't help but compare to colleagues in higher ed. There was a lot of overlap (although perhaps we could add recess)!.
“They need to play” So much great work being done by @MrsKFelix ! Thank you so much for sharing about your adventures in teaching early childhood remotely! #mieexpert #MicrosoftEDU

This is so important (albeit disappointing).
Key finding: fixed vs growth mindset did NOT vary across instructor demographics, gender, years of experience, job status. Incoming TAs have the same spread of mindsets as veteran faculty. We need to *actively* work on promoting growth mindset for all our students. #SABER2020.

Love this design!.
Thanks to all the folks who submitted to our hex sticker design comp! Our winner is @carriebennette's design which was created with ggridges and is inspired by the mountains near Seattle. Can you guess which mountains it features?
