Last paper is @nedenglish from @NORCNews discussing transitions from F2F to multi-mode for NSHAP and GSS “COVID potentially presented an opportunity to accelerate these transitions.” Transition from F2F allowed shift to adaptive/responsive design for GSS.

Michael Witt from @abtassociates discusses how he and his colleagues disentangled the effects of COVID, sample changes, and a transition from CATI to mixed modes on estimates from the NYC CHS.

Next, David Cantor discusses moving HINTS from RDD to ABS via a bridge study. Bridge allowed for measuring and considering mode effects. But data users did not always consider the split in their published work.
