I love YA fiction & was thinking @ the great books I read as a teen -examples of how to navigate through life. I wish I’d read one that helped me come to grips w/ man’s inhumanity to man. Any suggestions? Could still use guidance. Daughter is turning 12 and facing it now :(.

I’m so excited to have this in preprint form… fantastic work by @LambeLab @Sridevi292 @binko_mary. @camielnik and I were happy to be part. It shows how important those extrasynaptic receptors are! Not just for killing neurons!.
What happens when Grin1 deficiency leaves neurons with too few NMDA receptors (NMDARs)? . Turns out there is a selective loss of extrasynaptic NMDARs compromising dendritic plateaus. Adult genetic intervention can bring them back! . NMDARs #beingextra .
