I'm a Democrat, but I deeply appreciate what the Admin is doing to push back on Europe's anti-American tech regulation. And it pains me that the Biden Admin whiffed on this. @SecRaimondo tried, but @AmbassadorTai @SenWarren @SenAmyKlobuchar sandbagged her.

Always? Do you imagine in 100 years trucks will still have to carry humans who do nothing so that some union guy can get paid? That would be a pretty dystopian future.
I fully agree with @Teamsters. Self-driving trucks should *always* be supervised by a qualified professional to keep our roads safe. It’s a necessary partnership for America’s highways and economy.

We should be making it much, much easier to build data centers in the US (and the energy infrastructure needed to power them). There’s no moratorium in China on building infrastructure:
I will be pushing for a moratorium on the construction of data centers that are powering the unregulated sprint to develop & deploy AI. The moratorium will give democracy a chance to catch up, and ensure that the benefits of technology work for all of us, not just the 1%.
