, we have identified the Covid-19 variant with B.1.1.7 mutation (the variant first identified in UK) within Nigeria. The variant was identified in a positive sample collected on December 29, 2020 from a patient in Abuja.

Her research focused on the Genetic Diversity and Surveillance of Drug-Resistant Plasmodium falciparum infections in Nigeria.
