Update on the outbreak at CoreCivic Nashville. Covid has infected my diabetic older non violent client. When I asked for compassionate release a few weeks ago the ADA said on the record. “He is where he needs to be” He’s been incarcerated almost 2 years for a non violent offense

In Federal court they don’t do money bail. It’s based on a judicial determination after a hearing. Then, people on pretrial release are under supervision similar to probation. We could do that too, but you take to much money from the bail/bond lobbyists.

It’s amazing to me that life with possibility of parole can be 30 years in GA and just north is 51 years in TN, nearly double. We should just acknowledge as a state we don’t actually have life with possibility of parole.
A jury found three men guilty of murder for killing 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery last year. All three could face a sentence of life in prison without the possibility for parole.

Can you close 11th Ave North (Nashville Yards) at the exact same time so we can trap everyone moving in and through the Gulch? I know you will and start the lane closures at 8:30am to really throw everyone off, like you do everyday.
The WB lanes of traffic and one EB lane will be closed tomorrow from 9 AM until 3 PM to complete repairs. Watch for detours and traffic control officers to get through the area.
