It was an honor to sponsor this bill for teacher pay raises with @WilliamLamberth if we give a raise to our teachers it should find its way into their paycheck. All of it.
House Maj Ldr @WilliamLamberth led & worked terrific bill that’s now law requiring local school districts to report how funding is spent. The intent is clear-when taxpayers are told an increase is approved for teacher pay who serve in the classroom, they should receive it #TNLeg

Tennessee's ranking by @usnews as the #1 state for Fiscal Stability would not be possible without the hard work of David Lillard and the @TNTreasuryDept. Our pension system is one of the nation's finest!

I have come to appreciate Rep Coley. He always has a smile on his face.
Rep. Jim Coley has done an outstanding job for District 97! We became friends in 1996, and I was honored to endorse him in 2006. His presence will be greatly missed in the @TNHouseReps and @TNHouseGOP. Jim, thank you for your exemplary service to Tennessee.

Speaker Casada has made the right decision, and I look forward to working with the legislature to get back to conducting the people's business and focusing on the issues that matter most to our state.
