Recognize this vehicle? It’s the suspect vehicle in the hit and run of a bicyclist at 39th & Gillham Rd. on September 17. This happened about 8 p.m. that night. It is a red 2013-2020 Ford Fusion, 4-door, that may have damage to the driver’s side mirror. 1/2

They will also have the ability to go off-road in industrial areas, trails, and parks. The UTVs are enclosed with roll bar protection, and are equipped with A/C and heating, meaning that officers will use them year-round in all types of weather. 2/3

To increase our visibility and to better reach places that would be difficult or impossible with traditional police vehicles, our Downtown Foot Beat is now using UTVs. Officers will use a pair of UTVs to patrol alleyways, parking lots and garages, and city streets. 1/3
