I lived in Netherlands 2006-7. Needed a Dr, got appointment in a few hours. Needed referral for a non-urgent issues. Took 2 weeks. And yes, you pay an insurance, means linked - low earners paid 0 & capped at the top end. Worked a treat.

IMO this is because the authorities are getting worried. More and more people are seeing how things are really going. They are in panic mode as cannot control the spread of truth across people from different faiths, classes and backgrounds.
