The ongoing far-right riots across the UK, driven by racism & hatred, are appalling and terrifying. We stand in solidarity with Muslim and minority communities who’ve been targeted by extremists. No one should live in fear because of their faith, skin colour or nationality.

It’s 7 days since those poor wee girls were attacked & killed at Southport & yet we aren’t even talking about them or their families or the others who were injured anymore. I find that genuinely astonishing.

That hotel in Rotherham is not housing illegal migrants. It is housing asylum seekers. People who have fled from danger hoping the UK would be a place of safety, and are now surrounded by murderous thugs trying to burn them alive. Get it right, journalists. Tell the truth.

It only something to say about the new Labour gvt doing what it said it was always going to do - respect the rule of law. It seems we have proved we are not capable of having a grown up conversation about the challenges we are being confronted with.
