Today, we unveiled a memorial bench at #ArthurSeat in #Edinburgh in memory of Fawziyah Javed. Surrounded by her family and supporters, we honoured Fawziyah's memory. We want to thank @CityofEdinbugh council for organising and making this wonderful tribute to Fawziyah's memory

Good News: Robert Brown’s Appeal declined! Brown appealed the High Court decision he would not be automatically released in November 2023. His appeal has just been declined. He has never shown any remorse for killing Jo Simpson, mother of two & beloved daughter of Diana Parkes

Our community is saddened to hear of the passing of one of the great ones, Evan Stark. He wrote about coercive control to end it in 2009 & just graced us w his powerful work on children. Between these books he spoke, shared and saved lives. So many of us are eternally grateful.

Please stop describing coercive control as emotional abuse. It’s a pattern that can include many abusive tactics including, emotional, sexual and financial abuse, violence, gaslighting, tracking and monitoring, threats, stalking and much more.
