Stem cell derived islet therapy restores insulin in people living with T1D. 🔹 100% showed C-peptide response. 🔹 100% avoided severe hypos + HbA1c <7%. 🔹 83% achieved insulin independence at 1 year. 🔹 All received single infusion + immunosuppression.

New 20yr data from Milan on islet transplantation alone in T1D:. ✅ 44% insulin independence (median 6 yrs). ✅ Graft survival up to 20 yrs. ✅ Subgroup (high islet dose + BAS/FK/Rapa): 73% insulin independence. ⚠️ Allosensitisation rose to 42% after immunosuppression withdrawal.

*Diabetes impairs blood vessel growth, worsening PAD outcomes. *Study finds high glucose boosts SETD7, increasing SEMA3G-an angiogenesis blocker-restoring vessel formation in diabetic cells, mice, and patients. *Targeting SETD7 may offer a new epigenetic therapy for diabetic PAD.
