On this day 5 May 1980, day six. The Iranian embassy siege would be over. The terrorists murdered a hostage and the PM sent in the SAS to end the siege . 19 hostages freed and 5 of the 6 terrorists were dead. It was the RESOLUTION.

By 0330 hrs Blue team arrive covertly to join up with Red team who have been on stand by for 24 hrs. The neighbours from hell are complete next door to the terrorists. Blue team take over on stand by.
