England’s second city no-go for Jews. Police unable to protect them. Elected MPs celebrate ban. This is a sign of the future for Britain.

Precisely and as you will know the Palestinians in their national charter explicitly repudiated any claim to Gaza and Judea & Samaria (West Bank) until after the Israelis recaptured these territories in 1967.
@tantopress @COLRICHARDKEMP The PLO was created in 1964. What were they trying to liberate 3 years before the 6 Day War if the 48 armistice lines are sacrosanct?

I thought you said this was about the future. Anyway he was not suicidal then either. There can be no two state solution when the Palestinian leadership only want to eradicate you. Greater autonomy perhaps; a sovereign state, no.
@COLRICHARDKEMP You have a very strange way of holding a conversation. What were Netanyahu's plans for the two state solution prior to 7th October 2023?

You mean after the failed two state solution experiment that ended on 7th October 2023? You think Israelis are suicidal?
@COLRICHARDKEMP I thought this was a post about the future, what's the current offer?

The fact that every Palestinian “government” (and Arab leadership before the invention of the Palestinians) has rejected all offers of statehood based on those lines since the 1930s demonstrates that they are the absolutists preventing peace.
@COLRICHARDKEMP I think every adult in the room knows what is meant by the 1967 borders. The fact that the current government wouldn't ever consider it demonstrates that they are the absolutists preventing peace.

There are no “1967 borders”. You probably mean the armistice lines of 1949 arrived at after the Arabs’ illegal invasion of Israel. Even if Israel decided to recognise those as its borders that would not be enough; the Palestinians want the whole of Israel not just that part.
@COLRICHARDKEMP How about simply returning to the 1967 borders?

No plan B if Israel is to win the PR war. Only plan A. But maybe they think winning the actual war (as they are) is more important.
@COLRICHARDKEMP Do you have a plan b?

Here is my 3 point plan for how Israel can win the PR war from now on. (1) Do not defend against future aggression. (2) Agree right of return and hand over all the land to Palestinians. (3) Get on the cattle cars.
Everyone says Israel “lost the PR war.” The truth is there was never a chance to win it. The battlefield was fixed long before the first tank rolled into Gaza. A third of the world is Muslim. Their governments, media, and influencers mobilized instantly, and even before October

US CENTCOM commander warns Hamas to stop murdering civilians in Gaza. Will be hard for them as murder is in their DNA. Haven’t heard any of the usual “free Palestine” suspects or the appeasing Western politicians on this subject although maybe I missed it.

@jconricus @UNRWA True! Have supported @UNIFIL_ & @UN_CPRUS in the past. All of these organisations have had money poured into them but ask what have they actually achieved? @antonioguterres @JohnHealey_MP @COLRICHARDKEMP

Not just the generals, even the politicians want to fight the last war. Misguidedly trying to apply the lessons from Northern Ireland was one of the British Army’s biggest handicaps in Iraq & Afghanistan. It would be the same in Gaza.

If Abbas believes in democracy why won’t he hold elections? He believes in the elimination of Israel through his cast iron “right of return” policy. He promotes Jew hate through PA media, propaganda & education and financially incentivises terrorism against Jews.
@GD5496119 @COLRICHARDKEMP He is much better. His government recognised Israel in the 1990s. He believes in peaceful coexistence and democracy.

There is in fact no government of Palestine as Palestine does not exist as a political entity. The Palestinian Authority territories’ governance is divided between Hamas in Gaza and Fatah in Judea & Samaria.
@COLRICHARDKEMP The government of Palestine is the PA in Ramallah NOT Gaza.

Actually Hamas (or what’s left of it) is the government of the Gaza Strip where the PA has no authority. It won the last election held in the PA and since 7th October has been the most popular faction in both territories. Must do better.
@COLRICHARDKEMP Although actually Hamas not the government of Palestine which is the Palestinian Authority. Keep up.

Mass executions of Palestinian civilians in Gaza by Hamas. Should we expect anti-Hamas protests on our streets? Or should we continue to blame Israel for Hamas savagery?

Ceasefire deal. There is a long road ahead. Trump’s most important task is now to ensure he is succeeded in the White House by someone who shares his commitment to peace through strength. My article in today’s Daily Express.

One would be mistaken. The Trump plan is effectively the plan Netanyahu devised early in the war. Recognition of a non-existent state was done only to appease domestic anti-Israel voters in Western countries. What effect did previous performative UN walkouts on Netanyahu have?
@COLRICHARDKEMP One proposes the turning point in the Israelis direction came after countries started recognising Palestine and the UN members walked out on Netanyahu because it marked a major shift in global patience. No single good guy here just a lot of pressure globally from them who cared
