A colossal waste of resources and time. Instead it could have used this sum to revamp the mobility landscape of #Bengaluru. #1 Ensure smooth transitions @ major bottlenecks like tin factory, hoodi etc. #2 Make Roads of uniform width #3 Strengthen BMTC #4 improve active mobility
BBMP is going to spend 54000 crores! Let that sink it first... What is that for? 1. 40km of tunnel roads, 2. 40km-long double-decker flyovers, and 3. 109km of elevated corridors to tackle the congestion in Bengaluru. What's the problem? Hundreds(if not thousands) of studies

I guess once Blr -chn xpressway opens, PPL near Whitefield, hoskote, budigere can reach CMC faster than BMC.
CMC Vellore - Chittoor campus is spread in a sprawling 630 acre land, which is strategically located at the junction of 2 Expressways (Bangalore - Chennai & Chittoor-Thatchur) and NH40, with 3 Interchanges all around. The proposed Medical College is coming at this location.
