I'm not sure if I've mentioned it on this account, but the primary thing that keeps me from engaging with VNs is time That and the idea of spending hundreds of (potentially first person) hours with anime women does not sit well with me, not sure why
Everyone is talking about VNs as if they're the same as books. If they were, it would defeat the purpose of even making something a VN. One reason they take so long to read is the combination of audio, visuals, scrolling text. The medium does things that neither books nor manga

Scott Adams had a lot to say, but from my engagement with his work I took away two things: 1) Reject LOSERTHINK. 2) Disassociate from bad people. If everyone internalized those two lessons, we would permanently win like tomorrow.
