Birthing a baby is the absolute bare minimum result for mother and baby. The fact that “your baby lived, you should be happy” is said repeatedly should be a huge red flag for every woman. This doesn’t mean we will make the same choices, but we don’t have to live like this.
I actually do knock it. There's an undo obsession with birth and labor specifically which leads a lot of women to talk about birth disappointment. If you end up with a healthy baby and are alive yourself, that should be all that matters. Labor and delivery are the teensiest part

I’ve even seen people saying you can’t call yourself a pro-life Christian if you don’t submit yourself to every medical supervision measure available. Total hysterics. Everyone is obviously projecting their own birth trauma, I highly recommend processing yours with someone.

I’ve already seen many women, even Christians, saying that even home birth is dangerous and irresponsible and that we have modern medicine for a reason. Modern medicine has its place obviously, but it’s quite pathetic how easily women lap up the propaganda about their own bodies.
