Got to spend an entire day operating with Dr. Kenney last week, on his second to last OR day. Dr. Kenney is the exemplar of a kind surgeon. He teaches effectively with affirmations and a smile. He'll be missed from the ORs, but we're lucky to continue learning from him at BWH.
In the Nice Guys Finish First category: Today was Dr. Pardon Kenney's last operative case after a storied career in Surgery. Pardon trained hundreds & led @FaulknerHosp as Chief of Surgery for many years. Happily, Dr. Kenney will remain a part of our teaching faculty.

Not sure how many notes we wrote, but the Brigham Surgery interns take the cake on pages: we fielded between 5,000-6,000 pages *each* this year.
Intern appreciation lunch. What a year. My intern class wrote 113,407 notes lol.A year of being data entry clerks with a side of clinical reasoning and a pinch of procedures.
