This is an impactful paper that will help establish the criteria for using CSF drains for F/BEVAR. Except for very rare cases, we haven't used prophylactic CSF drainage for more than five years. #AortaEd #EVAR #Aneurysm #Aorta.
In the setting of comprehensive SCI prevention protocols, prophylactic CSF drain use may not be warranted, even in most high-risk patients.
