And the most sympathetic guy they could find for this story was deported three times, had several DUIs, and on his last stint he purchased a fake identity and proceeded to kill someone with his car. Swell guy.
Fantastic, must-read article in the Times today about a real life example of how an illegal migrant stole a man's identity and caused no end of problems.

Pull Day report. Different spot at the gym with new mirrors. It’s a little weird and the lighting is a bear, but not as bad as the official posing room. My ad hoc photog is a good fren who routinely squats four plus plates. Oh to be twenty-three again

Another innocent victim has her life ruined by a blue city’s absurd pro-criminal policies. 26 year old Bethany MaGee was intentionally set on fire on Chicago’s CTA train by a deranged psychopath with 72 prior arrests and 8 felony convictions.

One man "paid the price" by having his identity stolen, costing him tens of thousands of dollars and making his life hell. The other "paid the price" by being arrested and charged for the crime he knowingly committed. One of the craziest framings of a story I've ever seen.

I started watching It: Welcome to Derry during gym cardio and soon enough I had to flip my phone upside down and I had to look behind me if someone saw it over my shoulder because it that was embarrassing as all get out

Tonight’s must-read thread
This is the story of how I nearly lost everything to activist Swedish Social Services. In 2017, my family and I were living in Sweden. I had lived there before as a single man. We thought it was the safe, stable, open society everyone in the West keeps praising. What happened

There’s a broader point here that we don’t talk about enough: training level/advancement matters A LOT. What works for advanced lifters may very well not work for beginners & what works as a beginner will likely no longer serve u as u get more advanced/stronger. Volume, exercise
Nothing superior about low volume training. ”uh I do 1-2 sets“. Sure, leave out gains, avoid learning movements better, avoid true intensity. Does it work good when you’re jacked? Yeah, easy to maintain. Nice marketing. Psyop people into doing less and never get to your level.

The keys to perfect apple pie: 1. Apples should be sliced, not cubed. 2. Pick at least two kinds of apples, one sweet and one tart. 3. Cook the apple slices and mix ins (sugar, lemon zest, spices, etc.) in a covered Dutch oven, stirring occasionally, until they are fully

So you want to deport immigrants who don’t believe in that something, right? Right?
To be an American is not to be someone, but to believe in something. That is why we are at heart a creedal nation, and that is why the 250th anniversary of the Declaration next year is so important, writes Gordon S. Wood https://t.co/fU0CGzuzyH

this is not a gotcha this is a clearly one more argument against mass immigration
In the early 1900s, there was such a massive naturalization fraud scandal with Italian immigrants in St. Louis that it caused the national government to further mandate literacy testing. (Chris Rufo is of Italian descent)

It’s been a week of bittersweet goodbyes with some gym frens: - married couple bought a house forty miles away - traveling salesman of ten years finally returning to his home town in Utah to find a wife and level up his career - young husband getting divorced and can no longer

I wonder how life would be if everything you did followed a pay-to-do-anything DLC type model. Rent? How about paying daily for rent? Utilities? Taxes? Come on why not do it for all the things?
i wonder how much of Americans' views on driving vs. transit would change if they had to pay for gas/insurance/etc every time they turned on the engine "i'm not paying $5 to take the train to work twice a day when i can just drive" is a genuine opinion held by so many people

I wouldn’t be so sure… there are zoomers and others who openly discuss Fuentes and other unpalatable people IRL who share clips on other platforms, like their Instagram and Snapchat stories. People whom I know are real.
I remember when @Nero tried to warn everyone over a year ago that Nick's engagement was supplied by a standing army of foreign bots. The past 48 hours must feel profoundly vindicating.
