The Asian Youth Movements and the Indian Workers' Association would send minibuses up to Orgreave in support of the miners.
The Asian community also contributed to fundraising efforts. Miners returned the solidarity, joining a strike involving Asian workers in Birmingham in 84.

In 1994 I deliberately broke the law. I was fined £25,000 for breaching a High Court Injunction. 3 days in front of a HIgh Court Judge for organising a strike without a postal ballot. I demand that Johnson is charged.
