It is possible to articulate a class politics that does not abandon anti-racism or internationalism. Former @RMTunion General Secretary Bob Crow did exactly that at the 2009 Durham Miners' Gala. And @hzomlot, Eddie Dempsey and others continue in that fine tradition this year.

DWP benefit cuts to push 150,000 people into poverty despite partial U-turn. How many will die prematurely? Last year HMRC failed to collect £46.8bn of taxes. Please tell your MP to oppose the cruel cuts. https://t.co/ZYCSKFXDob

The extra cost of being disabled in UK will rise by almost 12% in five years, says @scope. That means finding another £15k a year just to live at the same standard as non-disabled people. But MPs should cut PIP tomorrow, right? Seems logical and humane?

The welfare Bill debate is not a game of parliamentary snakes and ladders. It is about hundreds of thousands of people, who remain at risk of being pushed into proverty. Which is why the concessions cannot be enough. https://t.co/31Rh0Wtmux

Private Eye has found that that 281,000 PIP claimants *already in paid work* stand to lose out under the proposed cuts (i.e the four-point rule) That's 55% of all PIP claimants in paid work, according to the article (not my article but I want to flag it)
