9 hours of teaching year 11 today. Every. Moment. Matters. @AstreaErnulf.
Chemistry paper 2 revision✅.Having the last 2 whole cohort exams has meant a non-stop focus on Chemistry paper 2 since the Maths exam on Wednesday morning. Our teachers have been relentlessly dedicated, continuing after school for those who wanted it. Very proud! @AstreaErnulf

Organising these sessions with the team @AstreaErnulf has been so inspiring. Staff really understand #everymomentmatters for our scholars.
A huge thank you to our Lead Practitioner @Mr_EKelly for delivering part of our Sunday revision session ahead of Biology Paper 2. An interactive session with lots of participation through call and response, building confidence ahead of tomorrow’s exam👏 #youarereadyyear11

I love this thread, educational fads have done so much damage. Focus on what we know works and life chances will improve for hundreds of thousands of children.
Oracy is yet another educational fad/distraction that doesn’t work. Focus on Oracy forces a school to organise itself around a mistaken concept, making it harder to succeed - not impossible, but harder. We do NOT do Oracy at Michaela. 1/15.
