A thing to note though: going to the mosque is more than just offering your Salah in congregation. It is also a way to meet other religious people, listen to sermons, feel religiously inspired, seeking support from your community, mosque lessons and events, etc.

i get the month of ramadan we do our best to engage in more ibadah and better ourselves but respectfully will you be raging if this was outside of ramadan? do you wake up for tahajjud on a regular outside of ramadan? acting like your parents will even allow you out past maghrib

Islamic gathering. They hosted multiple speakers. Saying takbeer is commonplace - for eid, for big meetings. There was a separation of genders - the men were all on the floor ground and the women were all on the raised sides. No intermingling at all
