I’d throw @CockroachDB in there! Like neon but you get horizontal scalability.
At this point PlanetScale+MySQL, or Neon+Postgres covers like 99% of use cases better than anything else. Dynamo is pretty cool, if you can model your data the way Dynamo wants you to model it (and you know how). Beyond that miss me with your startup's new toy db 😂.

If you ever decide to run eg a new version of typescript, you will have to support two versions (languages) during the upgrade. Language specific API’s are a trap folks.
the entire reason soap and rest and graphql exist is because people could be using 2 different languages. what if you don't?.

This is a big deal for Dittofeed. We’ve partnered with Polytomic for reverse ETL!. Companies have a rich source of customer data in their internal data warehouses and being able to leverage that data for *open-source* product lifecycle marketing is huge!.
Happy to release our integration with @dittofeed!. Now you can use Polytomic to sync users and events to Dittofeed from your databases, data warehouses, SaaS tools, HTTP APIs, or even spreadsheets!
