One of the reasons why “React ecosystem big” arguments sound nonsensical React *needs* a bigger ecosystem because it needs special integrations that go beyond “just JavaScript” Happy to see more and more people come to this realization
It's times simpler to integrate Vanilla libraries with R3 than it has ever been with React. And we are talking super early prototype of R3 that's going to improve. It's already times easier.

i'll be honest, there's way more free labor invested in traditional structured interview processed than simply hacking on oss software you use and enjoy everyday you could actually build something useful for yourself in the process of getting hired

- find an oss product you like - learn how it works - make changes that you want to see - show the authors how the feature helped you - profit vs - spend 6 hours in zoom talking to 4 people - repeat the same story 4 times - explain binary trees - repeat until hired

the funniest part about all the "free labor" replies it's because he said it out loud in reality most OSS companies are gonna hire you if you make good enough contributions and honestly i'd take this over structured interviews any day of the year
i get messages every single day asking if we're hiring yes we are but we're not gonna interview you or make a role - we're 100% oss, figure out what we need and solve our problems it's how everyone who works here got their job

After months of attempting to get the ripplejs org transferred, the team decided it was better to rename the project instead. It also aligns with our identity for being a TypeScript-first framework.
RippleJS is now know as RippleTS. This is part of a change that enables use the "ripple-ts" npm org and GitHub org to better build the RippleTS community. Furthermore, it gives the project more identity from the abandoned RippleJS projects of the past.

Say you have no idea how open source works without saying you have no idea how open source works
@asmah2107 Hard agree. I can develop many applications and contribute but doing a while for free at this stage? I cannot. OSS contribution is good for college goers who have time and need to show their skills.
