An Indian passport no longer adds value to my life. My best friend lives in Ireland. His birthday was recently. A normal thing would be to book a ticket and surprise him. Instead, I opened visa websites. I was already in Berlin a few days ago. That single detail meant I

Endless outreach. Endless tents. Endless chaos. This is not compassion. @FreeUpFdn is building a model that restores the lives of the homeless and public safety. Be part of the solution.

I finally caved and tried solidjs (for a TUI of all things) And yea it's sick, feels like a lower level svelte if that makes any sense First impressions: - further signals-pilled me. these are the only sane way to do reactivity in 2025 - I missed multiple components in one

seriously every framework i have used after meteor felt like a giant regression no wonder we are still trying to replicate its DX, just with slightly more "modern" tools

Solid has its own set of issues around reactivity. if you accidentally read a signal in component scope or destructure props, things might not update as you expect that said, this issue is almost always faced by people new to solid, and goes away with a little bit of experience

But if your tool makes it easy to make certain mistakes, at a certain point the tool has to share responsibility. No one says “skill issue” to the people using Jira and complaining about its UX and performance issues. They just say “switch to Linear”.

Okay I can’t believe I have to actually address this. Is this a skill issue? Yes and no. Obviously as an engineer it’s your responsibility to understand how your tools work and use them effectively.

indians with remote jobs should nomad the world if they can. when you live in different countries, you see how things actually work. how systems run without constant friction. how people trust defaults instead of hacking around them. systems and institutions in india moves
Indians with remote jobs should move back to their hometown if that option is available. Most big cities have hazardous air, contaminated food, and mind-numbing traffic. Better to move back and save money. Big malls and fancy eateries create nothing but an illusion of

Tomorrow's stream we dig into Time Slicing. What does it do? Is it necessary? Are there alternatives? And look at how the topic impacts the direction of Async Signals. https://t.co/d9GgHVRuDC

Did you know you can use Tanstack Start with @solid_js? I built a live hockey draft app for the Tanstack Start Hackathon. Uses @convex, @better_auth, @tan_stack, and @Netlify The turn by turn live draft updates were so simple using Convex. Give it a try!

I mostly agree Building progressively discoverable skills is a better way to sell capabilities than building your own agent That said, specialized subagents that are trained to do well defined tasks in your domain are still extremely valuable
Most agent startups are probably better off building skills and not harnesses. Big labs will own the harness layer. Models are fungible but harnesses are not, it’ll be the new big labs battle ground.

7 KEY QUESTIONS FOR 2026 Let’s look at 7 themes that could define 2026. 1️⃣ CapEx spend by the Big Four: CapEx at $AMZN, $MSFT, $GOOGL, $META has tripled from 2020 to 2025 and is nearing $0.5T annually. How much positive surprise is left in 2026?

sounds cool! what have you shipped with it so far?
Ever since I wired Claude Code to WhatsApp 3 weeks ago, I built a stupidly large infra around it. I mean, opus built it. No clue how the code even looks. The entire thing was vibe coded using my phone. I wanted to see how far I could push it without touching the computer.

saw a question asking if solid-js is still relevant frontend talk has been mostly replaced by ai talk but it's quietly grown 6x in a year in opencode - tui in solid - tauri in solid - web app in solid-start - enterprise app in solid
