We also found in drug repurposing analyses that many agents previously implicated may only work in people with specific omics profiles, suggesting we can use omics to select patients for trials. A lot of help from coauthors @craig_hersh @peter4244 @mikecho95 @IainKon @zhangjz07.

Happy to share our work using genetics and transcriptomics together for subtyping COPD patients. We found heterogeneity within high risk groups, showing a group with greater lung function decline and another more severe group. Many thanks @eBioMedicine .
