You might like to ask your friendly MP what happened to the much needed and promised SEND school for Bucks. We were told a year ago that it had been ‘delayed’ and now find out it has been completely cancelled.
@MATatBucks Blaming others, especially this government, does not excuse either the damning reports or the day to day failures. Ask service users and professionals in Bucks. They will all tell you the same thing. Hiding your head like this could be the root of all these issues.

More shocking figures for UK gov’t borrowing. I now think the UK’s deficit in 25/26 will be higher than 24/25 - in the region of £160bn vs less than £150bn last year
Labour’s addiction to debt continues. The government borrowed another £11 billion in November taking the budget deficit (financial year to date) to £132 billion — the highest borrowing since records began outside the pandemic. Borrowing continues to rise to finance record public

I rarely sign petitions but this one is great! Political parties should adopt this as policy. No there’s no such thing as a free school lunch. They’re taxpayer funded school lunches. https://t.co/DRNt8ra6WC

Fed up with roadworks? From spring 2026, our Lane Rental: Streets Ahead scheme will charge up to £2,500/day for works on the busiest roads at peak times. ✅ Fewer rush-hour roadworks ✅ Faster completion ✅ More reliable journeys Find out more - https://t.co/JtvzCAes0W

Really good news for road users. It won’t stop the utilities needing to dig up our roads but it will give them a big financial incentive to have the work completed quickly. Well done @BucksCouncil

It would be a Christmas miracle if we could reunite this teddy with their owner! 🎅 If you were on an Edinburgh service today and your little one has lost their favourite cuddly toy, please send us a message. 😊

The investment in Children's Services and SEND has been enormous over the past 14 years. These services have national issues which sadly this government has yet to address.
@MATatBucks Not many would agree. Your record on SEND and Children’s Services, a vital area for the people of Bucks, is despicable.

Happy to stand on my record over 18 years of supporting local people across Bucks.
@MATatBucks Your reputation goes before you in your persistence with bending figures to suit a Tory narrative. No surprise, it’s common across all parties. I merely think a councillor and ex leader should be doing all they can to support local people. You’re full of angst and negativity.

That accords with what Bucks retailers are telling me.
"Retailers report bleak holiday trading as sales outlook darkens" CBI Distributive Trades Survey No sign of respite in the retail sector... 🙄 https://t.co/sRbTprg2mD

This is a stitch up to conceal a dreadful strategic and financial (£34.7bn) betrayal of this country
Why is Keir Starmer so keen to rush the #Chagos Bill through Parliament? Report stage is set for the first day back in the New Year, then they've set the final Third Reading just 2 days later (7 Jan) when many peers will still be away. This isn’t scrutiny. It’s a stitch-up.

At £132 billion, borrowing this year is the highest on record, outside of the pandemic - yet at the Budget Labour chose even more reckless spending, piling up ever higher debt. Having scrapped the two-child benefit cap and abandoned welfare reform, Labour are borrowing more and
Public sector net borrowing excluding public sector banks was £11.7 billion in November 2025. This was £1.9 billion less than in November 2024 and the lowest November borrowing for four years. Read the full article ➡️ https://t.co/c8dYq9kiao
