Today we welcome @LucyAtkinson_ as our new political director. Lucy has a decade of Labour Party experience, having been a London Regional Organiser for the party since 2022 and prior to that a Cllr in Lancaster and an organiser in Blackpool and London.

As the role of Deputy Leader has become vacant, following an emergency NEC meeting this afternoon, we have agreed the following process timetable and procedure. PLP Nominations for Deputy Leader will open Tuesday 09 September, and MPs will have to vote in person at the PLP
