Would love to MRI everyone prior. However it’s not available in my town, patients have to drive 30 minutes into the city to get it and many don’t want to do that. The logistical barrier to care is more of the realistic problem to underutilization.

IMRIE is out! Our large cohort study found mpMRI could accurately exclude clinically significant PCa (>=GG2) in both specialist and local hospitals. We found a NPV of 90.6% when mpMRI was used in conjunction with PSAD cut-off of 0.15

My addendum to this great wake up call by Professor Walz.
Urologists involved in prostate cancer care should routinely offer and embrace focal therapy using HIFU and cryotherapy.
Consequently, the future will be very bright for the urological community.
