The back has established patterns for infrastructure and APIs. Unless you're actually doing something new, no one is reinventing the wheel, at least shouldn't be.

I’ve never seen such an aversion towards learning.
I’ve sat back and watched people get into the most heated debates on this platform over whether they should learn C or start with Python or JavaScript because it is “easy”.
My opinion:

I honestly believe some programmers age quite well into their professions. I’m in my 40s and luckily I haven’t faced any agism (at least not to my face), also I learn and tackle problems with twice the vigor I did in my 20s, but that’s just me.
