False and a negative way to view discipline. Discipline just means figuring out your priorities and ruthlessly cutting away what doesnt serve them. Theres nothing more self trusting than knowing yourself and optimizing for your deepest priorities, that cause you fulfillment. In.
“I need to be more disciplined” often actually translates to “I want to subject myself to more rigorous checks & balances because I don’t trust my own intuition & instincts, and fear losing my false sense of control over my life”.
