Thank you to @UBCmedicine and @UBCNews for highlighting the provocative work of super star fellow @JelenaK86 . Yes, itās true, some peoplesā islets have larger insulin responses to fatty acids (8%) and amino acids (9%) than glucose! We are not all the same :-)
