Way overdue but never too late I guessâŠduring the early part of the pandemic and shutdown, everyone was struggling. As a full time single mom of a 3 and 6 yo at the time, and a full time researcher and physician, itching to see patients and also do research, I had a lot to say.

Really proud to have led the effort with #T1DI to use existing data to uncover underlying questions in #T1D. In our latest paper, we used the data to determine the optimal ages to screen with the goal to use this approach as an entry into public health screening for T1D.
