Congratulations to Senta for her John Hutton Rising Star Award👏👏👏Last night had the weirdest of dreams
was having a drink with John Hutton and Lelio Orci at “The Langham Tap Room”. While super happy for Senta, they were both lamenting why we don’t have more mentors like Anil!

Way overdue but never too late I guess
during the early part of the pandemic and shutdown, everyone was struggling. As a full time single mom of a 3 and 6 yo at the time, and a full time researcher and physician, itching to see patients and also do research, I had a lot to say.

Obesity continues to be on the rise in the US, including among those with type 1 diabetes. Could the microbiome be playing a role and if so, can we modulate that? Check out our new review article, hot off the press!! https://t.co/l5nrYmfOgp

Really proud to have led the effort with #T1DI to use existing data to uncover underlying questions in #T1D. In our latest paper, we used the data to determine the optimal ages to screen with the goal to use this approach as an entry into public health screening for T1D.
