I was standing on the sidewalk in front of the Sheiks Islamic Centre this afternoon holding posters of the hostages. Parents were bringing small children to learn from this man.
Victoria, B.C., Imam Sheikh Younus Kathrada is at it yet again - calling for destruction of Jewish people.
But B.C. politicians, incl. from the city of Victoria, don't raise a peep.
I've asked them for their views.
They don't get back to me.

That the Liberal government is restoring funding to this organization complicit in terrorism and the massacre of Israelis, and the raping of Israeli women - without holding the line for the return of the hostages is mind boggling. No accountability whatsoever.
I completely oppose the resumption of UNRWA funding without even having an interim report published by those investigating, when no funds are due until April and when we could have worked with the US on their plans to deliver aid. I stand by the statement I issued yesterday 100%.

I just saw a full-sized Palestinian flag flying from a $1 million+ house in one of Victoria's toniest neighbourhoods. The sight honestly made me queasy; I've always joked that Victorians would be the first to call bylaw on Anne Frank, but it's not funny anymore.
